StarWrek II is *Freeware* no charge must be made other than reasonable disk handling costs.
Use your mouse (trackball recomended) to move
Left Mouse (or shift) button to fire
Right Mouse(or Ctrl ) button for shields
When the game first starts you are sent for training where you place a cross-hair over any targets that appear on the screen and press left mouse or shift buttons to destroy the targets you must destroy 50 targets in order to leave training
Tip: if you rest the cross-hair in the centre of the screen between shots it is easier to reach the next target that pops up.
Tip: combination of mouse or trackball to move and keyboard to fire/shields is often easier.
You may be sent back for training if your performance during the game is not up to Stark Fleet standards.
When you take over the controls of you new ship destroy anything that appears on the screen for score and to progress. There is a 2 minute time limit in each level if this limit is passed you will re-start the current level.
When you activate shields (automatic at the begining of each level) the shield counter counts down to 0 when of course you lose shields. The shields will then start to re-charge. When the word "shields" on your control panel turns green you have shields again when red you do not.
